Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Toucans Wall Hanging from Costa Rica South America

One of a kind wall hanging! This artwork is made from hand carved wood and includes framing, stained darker than the rest, all out of the same piece. It features two toucans perched in a tree.

Look up close to see the intricate detailing: multiple feather variations, several tree textures, smooth beaks, weathered finishing on the frame.

This bohemian, tropical piece is not signed, but it is similar to Costa Rican artist Jose Balmaceda Chavez, which sells at a much higher price point. Estimated decade of production in the 1980s based on the original wall hanging fixture (newer one was added later).

Approximate measurements: 13 inches high, 10.5 inches wide, 1 inch deep.

A little bit of wear from years of storage, but it adds to the rustic charm of the piece. It's a sure to be a conversation piece wherever you hang it!
